PEN OF FREEDOM

Today, more than 21 million people are still victims of forced labor today in the world, overall. To strengthen the fight against this crime, the ILO has launched the “50 For Freedom” campaign which asks that 50 countries ratify the 2014 “Protocol on Forced Labor” designed to strengthen the fight against new forms of modern slavery.

To convince our politicians to sign this important Protocol, we ask that Brazilians demonstrate their support through social networks. The posts supporting the campaign are being transmitted within the National Congress and each message is transformed into a drop of ink that supplies the PEN OF FREEDOM, used by the President of Brazil to sign the Protocol.
